The Open Booth is where it all started, in 2007, "pre-bus", the Photo Bus founders pulled together a booth from random gear, wires, and studio equipment for a friends wedding. The rest is history, we used a similar setup to deliver high quality photo booths for years to come. Our newest version is an evolution on the original, with a stylish retro exterior; our new Open Booth pairs well with the Bus or on its own for any event.

Frequently Asked Questions

 

If my event is outside, does The Open Booth have to stay inside?

The Open Booth is strictly an indoor booth, we may be able to make exceptions for covered outdoor areas, enclosed tents, and protected areas. The main reason is wind, and the secondary reason is rain. Our backgrounds, no matter how secured, can become dangerous and be damaged even with a slight breeze. We recommend the GIF Booth or Photo Bus if you event is 100% outside.

Do you charge for setup time? 

Setup time is free, we arrive around 30-60 minutes before your requested start time, and it takes us about 30 min to tear down and leave your event. We recommend you book

How much space do you need? 

With the Open Booth, the exact dimensions depend on the background you choose, as some are wider than others, general rule is around 11'x11ft, but with some backgrounds our footprint can be as small as 7.75’(background width)x6’ feet (camera back from background).

Do you print on-site? 

All of our Open Booth packages include printing unlimited photos on-site. What's even better is each person who takes their picture in our photo booth gets a copy of their photo.

Can you personalize the prints? 

We always have The Photo Bus logo on the bottom of prints, but we will also personalize it for your event, whether it's a wedding, birthday party, fundraiser, or just because! We are all about creating memories, so we are so happy to work with you to help people remember each event. See some examples HERE.

What backgrounds do you have, are they included? 

Yes, a background is included with every Open Booth package. We also offer custom branded backgrounds with your logo, or custom printed options to fit your theme perfectly. Check out our standard free background options here.

How much does it cost to rent your Open Booth?

Rates depend on the number of hours, day of the week, and the season. Please send us an inquiry for accurate pricing for your event date. All of our packages include unlimited prints, an attendant to set up, run and tear down, props to use, custom print design, and your choice of background.

Do you travel? 

The Photo Bus travels to events in the immediate Dallas/Fort Worth area at no additional cost. If you're curious about having this unique photo booth at your event outside of DFW, contact us and we'll see what we can do!
