Lovingly restored and cared for, our 1969, 1971 & 1979 VW Transporters are loved by Brides & Grooms, event guests, and visitors at all kinds of events.
VW's have always been about peace, love and FUN! Thats why we selected the classic VW Bus to represent our brand and transform into our unique Photo Booth concept.

Frequently asked Questions:
Does The Photo Bus™ have to stay outside?
No, we go inside venues all the time! We are familiar with all of the fire marshal regulations and procedures. Our buses have electric cut off switches and a locking fuel tanks for safety.
The Photo Bus™ is 70.5” wide, 81” tall, 17.5’ feet long, and it weighs approximately 3000 lbs (about the same as a modern compact car). So as long as we can fit in the door and get permission from the venue, we will be there! Let us know you are thinking of having us inside, chances are we have been to your venue before, or we can go scout the location for you.
How much space do you need?
We ask for about a 15'x20' space when we're up and running for guests.
Do you need power?
The Photo Bus needs 1 standard household outlet, 120v, 15 amps, preferably to ourselves, especially in the summer when we are running the air conditioning in the bus. If no power is available at your event location, we do have a rental generator option to keep us up and running all night! If you are providing your own generator we require you send us the model and specs for approval first.
Do we pay for setup time?
No, setup time is free. We arrive around 45-60 min before our start time to setup, and it takes us about 20 min to tear down and leave. If you need us to arrive earlier or stay later due to logistics, we have a reasonable fee for this extra time.
Do you print on-site?
All of our Bus packages include printing unlimited photos on-site. What's even better is each person who takes their picture in our photo booth gets a copy of their photo.
Can we personalize the prints?
Absolutely, print customization is included with all Photo Bus bookings, we will personalize it for your event, whether it's a wedding, birthday party, fundraiser, or just because! Check out some examples HERE.
How much does it cost to rent your VW Bus mobile photo booth?
Rates depend on the number of hours, day of the week, and the season. Please send us an inquiry for accurate pricing for your event date. All of our packages include unlimited prints, an attendant to set up, run and tear down, props to use, custom print design, and your choice of background.
Do we get the digital files?
Yes, we will email you a Dropbox link after the event with all your photos. Also, we post the images to our Facebook page so you, and your guests can have them for personal use. If you don't want them posted publicly, that’s fine too :)
Can I change the background?
Yes, we have a selection of backgrounds to choose from so you might find one you need without having to customize one. You can see some of them in our gallery HERE.
Do you drive The Photo Bus?
Yes! We always drive The Photo Bus to events, but we usually push it into the venue. For events further out sometimes it safer for us to tow it there.
May we come see the Photo Bus prior to an event?
We do our best to attend as many local Dallas events as we can so you can experience our photo booth for yourself. You can find all of our public events on our Facebook page and our Instagram. If you are unable to go to one of the events, we would be happy to arrange a time to show you.
What year & color is The Photo Bus DFW?
We have three buses, a 1969, 1971 and a 1979. All of the buses are blue.
Where did you get the bus?
Our first bus came from Atlanta, Georgia we brought it back to Kansas City for restoration, and it was delivered to Dallas in early June 2014. Our second bus was purchased in the LA area, and was shipped back to Dallas for restoration. And our third bus was purchased in Kansas right out of a barn.
Do you travel?
The Photo Bus travels to events in the immediate Dallas/Fort Worth area at no additional cost.
